IT Support Specialist (HelpDesk)

Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for providing top-notch IT support? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist for our client – a respectable Latvian bank. If you possess technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.

 

Requirements:

  • A degree in IT or a related field is preferred;
  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT field;
  • Proficiency in computer and software operations (MS Windows Workstation, MS AD, MS Office) and hardware diagnostics;
  • Understanding of network operations, iOS, and MacOS operating systems;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • High sense of responsibility;
  • Good knowledge of the Latvian language, with desirable proficiency in Russian and English.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to users, responding to received user inquiries;
  • Independently resolve operational issues or involve responsible IT team members (system administrators, information system developers) as needed;
  • Coordinate the execution of application submissions and problem-solving processes;
  • Keep users informed about the progress and outcomes of application resolution, ensuring necessary documentation;
  • Administer user access rights;
  • Offer consultation to users.
