Payroll Accountant / HR Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client, a respectable Latvian bank, as a Payroll Accountant / HR Specialist. If you have a background in economics, accounting, or a related field, along with experience in payroll management and HR-related tasks, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Payroll Accountant or in HR-related roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll processing, employment, and taxes.
  • Excellent command of the Latvian language.
  • Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle various HR challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely payroll calculations and disbursements.
  • Manage and process employee-related taxes, contributions, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and other relevant regulations.
  • Maintain and update personnel records and HR databases.
  • Assist in the preparation, updating, and distribution of HR documentation.
  • Provide support in HR-related administrative tasks.
