Technical Support Engineer

Our client, a leading award-winning software, and aircraft design developer FIXAR, with HQ in Riga, is looking for a talented and ambitious Technical Support Engineer to join their growing innovative team. Since its foundation in 2018, the company completed R&D, delivered two serial models of drones to the market, launched sales, and entered the international market.




Responsibilities

  • Participate in incident investigations;
  • Analyze UAV performance;
  • Identify performance failures using developed in-house software;
  • Create and manage requests in the bug tracker (Youtrack);
  • Coordinate the processes of solving technical challenges;
  • Edit and adjust technical documentation, from electronics assembly to UAV operational manuals, with the LaTeX system;
  • Manage and help to develop the customer portal.
  • Communicate with customers on technical issues.



  • Requirements

  • Fluent English;
  • Technical or Engineering background or education;
  • Hands-on experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Technician, Maintenance Engineer, IT Support Specialist or similar role;
  • Willingness to self-develop and grow within the industry;
  • Ability to understand technical parlance and convert it into everyday language and back again;
  • Ability to learn new software;
  • Proper communication skills.



  • Nice to have

  • Experience/basic knowledge of Aviation;
  • Experience/basic knowledge of Automotive Mechanics.
