Our client, a leading freight forwarding company based in Latvia, specializing in dry/general cargo transportation in containers, big bags, liner bags, templiners, pallets, and more, across the Baltic States, Central Asia, and other countries, is looking for a Sales Project Manager to join their professional team in Riga.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a steady sales pipeline.
• Identify client needs and propose customized freight forwarding solutions.
• Manage sales projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at industry events to expand professional networks and generate new business.
• Work closely with the operations team to guarantee seamless service execution.
• Create and present sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to uncover business opportunities.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and project progress to management.
• Address client inquiries promptly, resolving issues to maintain satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or a related field (may be in progress).
• Proven experience in sales or project management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• A strong understanding of dry/general cargo transportation solutions.
• Experience with containerized liquid cargo transportation (an advantage).
• Proficiency in English and Russian.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and multitasking skills.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
