Deputy COO
We’re hiring for a growing fintech company that provides lending and business development solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. With an expanding team and ambitious plans, they’re now looking for a Deputy COO — someone who understands how to keep financial operations sharp, scalable, and accountable.
This is not a secretarial role. It’s a hands-on operational position for someone with experience in banking, finance, or financial services — someone who speaks the language of processes, productivity, KPIs, and structured growth. You’ll work directly with the COO, helping drive business performance across departments, while keeping internal projects and operational routines on track.
What You’ll Do
- Track operational performance and business KPIs
- Follow up on initiatives across teams and ensure timelines are met
- Identify process bottlenecks and help implement improvements
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management
- Represent the COO in selected meetings and internal communications
- Support project execution in operations, HR, and finance
- Collaborate with other department leads to ensure strategic alignment
What You Bring
- 4+ years in banking, fintech, or financial services operations
- Experience working with KPIs, operational reporting, and project tracking
- Highly organised and structured way of working
- Comfortable working across teams and driving accountability
- Fluent Latvian and English
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Bonus: project management or business administration background
