Role overview
As a Compliance Lead, this individual will play a critical role in shaping and unifying the compliance architecture for all around the group of companies. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong grasp of regulatory requirements, and a solid background in automating the digitalisation of compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Architecture: Review the current Compliance, KYC, and AML structures. Develop a unified architecture and process framework for all compliance activities.
- Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate vendors needed to address specific compliance needs. Propose improvements to the current architecture.
- Centralisation: Centralize compliance procedures across various geographies, providing internal services to the entire group.
- Process Improvement: Analyze and understand the broker’s compliance processes, identifying good and bad examples. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What you need
- Experience: Proven experience in building similar architectures for large financial players. Extensive experience in compliance within the financial services industry, particularly in trading and brokerage.
- Compliance Expertise: Excellent understanding of compliance processes within a brokerage, including KYC and AML. In-depth knowledge of international regulatory requirements and standards.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and improve existing compliance structures and processes.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to work effectively with different departments and CEOs of the companies within the group.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
