Internal Reporting Accountant
We are supporting a fast-growing, international company in hiring an Internal Reporting Accountant to join their internal reporting and management accounting team in Riga.
This is a hands-on finance role for someone who enjoys working with numbers, data, and processes, and who wants to be closely involved in internal financial reporting, month-end closing, and process improvement initiatives, including ERP migration projects.
The role offers a strong balance between operational accounting work and participation in system and process improvements.
What You’ll Do
Internal accounting & reporting
- Maintain internal bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of internal records
- Prepare internal financial reports for management (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Perform month-end closing, reconciliations, and analytical reviews
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports upon request
Processes & collaboration
- Collect, structure, and maintain documentation for each legal entity (internal and external accounting needs)
- Work closely with team members to streamline reporting and finance processes
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of internal accounting systems and ERP migration projects
- Support smooth data migration and ensure data accuracy during system changes
What You Bring
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in management accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting / ERP systems (1C, NetSuite, MS Navision, or similar)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and process discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
- Experience working with JIRA or other financial workflow tools (nice to have)
- Experience with process optimization or financial automation tools is a plus
- Fluent English
