Responsibilities:
- Сontribute to developing novel Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) techniques and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PVD innovations into product development.
- Perform in-depth characterization of thin films using various analytical techniques.
- Analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations.
- Communicate research findings effectively through presentations, reports, and publications.
- Manage and coordinate research projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in PVD research and development, preferably in an industrial or startup setting.
- Strong understanding of PVD techniques, including sputtering, evaporation, and related processes.
- Proficiency in thin film characterization methods (e.g., SEM, XPS, TEM).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proper Latvian and Russian languages
