PVD Researcher

As they push the boundaries of innovation, we are looking for a talented and driven PVD Researcher to join their dynamic team in Riga. Responsibilities:

  • Сontribute to developing novel Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) techniques and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PVD innovations into product development.
  • Perform in-depth characterization of thin films using various analytical techniques.
  • Analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Communicate research findings effectively through presentations, reports, and publications.
  • Manage and coordinate research projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in PVD research and development, preferably in an industrial or startup setting.
  • Strong understanding of PVD techniques, including sputtering, evaporation, and related processes.
  • Proficiency in thin film characterization methods (e.g., SEM, XPS, TEM).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proper Latvian and Russian languages
